Description
Trees that are on part of the Wilbur Cross Parkway (Rt 15) buffer are leaning over my property and damaging the fence.
Does any one know who/how I get permission to trim/remove the trees and brush so I can have a new fence installed?

You can submit a service request with the town. They should let you know if you can remove the part of the tree that is overhanging your property.

You can also contact the state DOT and ask them .

If you don't hear back from the town or the DOT. You should contact News8 for help.

If that doesn't work you can hire a professional tree removal company to remove the tree. They should know how to contact the right person in regards to a tree on state property.

@Hamdener,
Thanks for the info. I'd prefer to have the city or state take care of this or do it myself. Just couldn't find any info on the State DOT site.
I submitted a request on the city's site. Lets see what happens.
Thanks again.
