Α. There is no crosswalk at Sawyer/Fullerton. I've seen many pedestrians running across Fullerton just to make it across and often this is not safe as cars are speeding towards the pedestrians. Furthermore, additional crosswalks (and/or a pedestrian island) would help slow the traffic on Fullerton to a safer level, as cars are often speeding significantly above the speed limit.

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out. We have discussed this with CDOT and, unfortunately, a crosswalk on this intersection would not be safe. We've looked into a pedestrian island but the street does not qualify for one here either.
Fullerton Ave is actually owned by Cook County so we are working with Commissioner Anthony Joel Quezada on finding ways to improve pedestrian safety along Fullerton Ave.
