A fellow-resident just mentioned that an inspector (either from the city or from the landlord) told him, and attempted to tell the other residents, that the rear stairs are dangerous and are not to be used. The landlord, however, left a note on all of the residents' doors stating that the rear stairs are safe. I'm increasingly concerned about this issue and now rather confused.

The stairs continue to crumble visibly yet there has been no response from either the landlord or from the city.

3/16/2012 - Property Maintenance Officers have already inspected this location and have noted there are violations. Citation given to owner and Property Maintenance is currently working on the owner to bring this property into compliance with City code.
