Description
During evening rush hour (4:00-6:00) the north bound lane of Lowell backs up at the traffic light at 64th. Northbound drivers cut the center turning lane to jump the line and then turn left at the light. This creates a dangerous situation where southbound drivers intending to turn left into 63rd are at risk for a head on collision. Please consider adjusting the duration of the Lowell light at 64th to reduce the backflow.

I can confirm that this is in fact an issue. I have personally seen multiple people not only drive down the center lane, but blatantly on the wrong side of the road as well in order to try to get to the intersection and avoid the traffic.
Additionally, perhaps a turn signal can be put in for this left turn lane? This would be the left turn from Lowell northbound onto 64th westbound. There is a turn signal for the opposing direction that is not nearly as traffic ridden as this direction.
