Drivers traveling on Potomac Ave SE between 17th St & 19th often speed beyond posted 25 mph, fail to yeild to pedestrians in marked crosswalks and inattentive on Cellphones. DC needs to take appropriate actions to make the 2 block stretch safer for all parties involved.

This intersection needs, at the least, more visible zebra bar crosswalks laid down with raised thermoplastic.

This intersection is very dangerous. Folks speed down the street and sometimes cross lanes prior to the street turning one way. The crosswalk should have zebra stripes or raised crosswalk and a sign reminding drivers of DC law to stop for pedestrians. Drivers have to stop at 19th street anyway.

Today I was almost hit by a car--one car had stopped to let me pass, and another in the far lane did not stop and almost hit me and then screamed some nice expletives at me as she zoomed past. I have almost been hit several times. THERE NEEDS TO BE A CROSS WALK WITH A STOP SIGN FOR PEDESTRIANS HERE. That camera doesn't do crap. Super dangerous.

How has this been resolved? Almost hit this morning again. Walking back in the evening, did not notice any change and no one stopped.

What's the resolution here? It's been over three years and it still hasn't even been acknowledged?
