Description

Mattress and box springs, ugly table, bedspread, other junk dumped illegally. Would the landlord or dumper please clean this up.

I believe they are trying to be nice and put out things they no longer want, thinking others might be able to use their discarded items. This is called recycling. Not a big deal unless it stays out there indefinitely.

Well, somebody cleaned it up, which is good.
And I'd be happy to agree about the recycling except for the mattress and box springs -- not even Goodwill accepts these as used items. Also they sat out in the rain, which the "donator" might have predicted would happen, so I don't buy the recycling argument for these.
