After nearly two weeks went by and seeing the light still hadn't been fixed, I contacted Duke Energy directly to see why. After a series of calls to Duke customer care plus being transferred to multiple parties along the way, I finally had myself escalated to a very responsive manager in Duke's Lighting Assets & Process Governance department. The manager's research of the situation reported that Duke did receive the report from COR on 6/26 (the date of my report), yet no crew was dispatched (apparently due to some internal communication breakdown and/or systems glitch). Internally, she generated a new request on 7/15. The light was repaired midday on 7/17, so this problem is now resolved, thus the ticket may be closed.
