The Traffic Division is aware of the signal pole in question. There are high voltage transmission lines that run directly above the location. For us to be able to get a crane in there, the lines need to be deenergized. PG&E has been notified and are aware of the signal pole. We are awaiting for PG&E's response, before completing the repairs needed. Thank you.

thank you, tim. i appreciate being given an explanation. just today, driving toward i-80 a car ignored the flashing light and i had to do a quick maneuver. it would be good if they could attend to it sooner rather than later.

Thanks for reporting this issue! The signals are out as a result of a vehicle collision in the intersection that damaged an overhead signal pole. To restore the overhead signal pole the high voltage lines running above must be de-energized to get a crane in there to do the work. PG&E has been notified, they've been out to investigate and have scheduled for the lines to be de-energized. Unfortunately the recent wildfires have put this project on pause, so until PG&E reschedules with the city of Vallejo, the intersection will remain in flash. this is a dangerous situation, that's why people are reporting it. i had to swerve another car that didn't stop yesterday. i understand that pg&e has been busy, but this needs attention! before someone is hurt!
