    Hughes Pl New Haven, Connecticut, 06511 - Wooster Square
    There are two holes adjacent to the sidewalk. Over a number of years the holes have appeared and neighbors have filled them with sand and stone; but after a year or two they reappear. One time two large bags of sand and a bag of stone was needed to fill the hole. For a long time the theory has been that it must be a rodent, but there is no evidence or signs of digging. It is now the deepest it has been extending under a large portion of sidewalk. We are concerned that someone will accidentally step in the hole or that the sidewalk might collapse. Since this is a city sidewalk, we will appreciate your attention & solution to the problem. Thank you!

    This fence pipe is dangerously hanging over the sidewalk where a tall person could bang their head at night. Located on line between Firestone Tire & Olive & Wooster apartments on Union St. The fence is a safety hazard and the owners need enforcement to repair it

    Previously reported 3 lights out in Wooster Square park ( not counting the damaged light posts that were previously reported). Now the number of non functioning lights is 6. 5 of them on the diagonal walkway between corner of Chapel & Academy to Greene and Wooster Place. This is a safety issue-please prioritize repair.

    We have twice before written about dead tree limbs on Greene St. that are located above parked cars. These are a safety concern. Over night a small branch blew down but fortunately didn’t do any damage. Please refer this to the proper department to come and trim the dead limbs off the trees. Contact me and I will point them out.

    There are 3 large dead branches over parked cars on Greene St that need to be cut off (the rest of the tree seems healthy). Our condo put in a request back in June; I have spoken to our alder about it. We are concerned that in a wind storm they could fall on a car. A couple of weeks ago, no parking tree department signs were posted but no one from the tree department showed up. Please prioritize this and feel free to contact me. John Lindner cell 203-627-5327
