Notified About

  • 1 N Regency Dr E Arlington Heights, IL, 60004, USA - Arlington Heights
This fairly large, 'healthy' branch came crashing down on Friday, 6/4/21, about 5:00 PM. After looking at the tree there are some large dead branches in the tree, it is a locust tress on the parkway, that need to be inspected and probably trimmed. The tree is directly in front of the home at 1 N Regency Drive EAST in Regent Park.
There are many little children and older adults that play and walk by this tree. It should be looked at immediately.
I'll be submitting multiple requests like this in other categories so hopefully it gets the needed attention.
  • N Beverly Ln & E Hawthorne St Arlington Heights, IL, 60004, USA - Arlington Heights
There are no stop signs at the corner of E. Hawthorne St. and N. Beverly Ln. Stop signs are needed on all four corners of this intersection to prevent accidents. There are only yield signs on E. Hawthorne St. that need to be replaced with stop signs -AND- stop signs are desperately needed on N. Beverly Ln. as well. While residents are exiting their driveways on N. Beverly Ln. (nearest this intersection), cars traveling through Beverly do not show any respect or care for anyone, clearly see the residents exiting their driveways with their cars halfway or completely on the street, and decide to increase speed in hopes they will pass behind or infront them quickly when there is no space to do so. Those exiting their driveways do not even have time to exit properly and/or to place their cars from reverse to drive and become afraid because there has been numerous near collision misses. This happens daily. It is imperative to add stop signs at this intersection. If not on all four corners, which is preferred, then at least on N. Beverly Ln. while keeping the yield signs on E. Hawthorne St.

  • 20 S Patton Ave Arlington Heights, IL, 60005, USA - Arlington Heights
There was a speed study on Sigwalt at 907 West. We’d like to request a 3 way stop at Sigwalt and Kaspar. (Kaspar on the north side of Sigwalt). Traffics flies down this residential street as there are no stop signs between Ridge and Dwyer.
  • 1828 E Suffield Dr Arlington Heights, IL, 60004, USA - Arlington Heights

Street light strobing on /off. Light immediately to the West is doing the same.

Do not replace with one of the super-white, non-defused, super bright at-the-source bulbs like I've seen being used. Amber or exact replacement only.

  • 2703 E Bel Aire Dr Arlington Heights IL 60004, United States - Arlington Heights
Can you please clean up and fix the parkway on Kensington between Regency Drive East and Regency Drive West. The parkway is a mud pit. The brand new sidewalk the village installed is broken and patched with asphalt. There are tire tracks and garbage throughout the parkway that should have grass. Seems like the village does not care. There is a welcome to Arlington Heights sign in the middle of this mud pit and this is not a good representation of Arlington Heights when drivers read the sign. Please advise on when and how you will be fixing this.
  • 705 N Beverly Ln Arlington Heights, Illinois, 60004 - Arlington Heights
I have had chronic flooding in my back yard for the past 3-4 years due to all of the new construction on the 700/800 block of Beverly Lane. Newer Properties to the north have had the grade raised and I am left with the neighborhood sewer. Please aseess.

  • Parkway Restoration Acknowledged
2110 E Sherwood Rd Arlington Heights, IL, 60004, USA - Arlington Heights
With the road/water main restoration project completed last year, the signs were placed on the parkway as shown in the photo along with many other sings. Would like to have this strip of the parkway to be replaced with SOD as other parkways had been replaced. Understand it was due to weather and being late in the season but now that spring is on the way it would be ideal to get this work completed.
  • N Belmont Ave & E Lynnwood Ave Arlington Heights, IL, 60004, USA - Arlington Heights
Intersection of Belmont Ave & Lynnwood Ave currently has 2-way stop signs (on Lynnwood) but more and more cars are using this as a cut-through from Thomas to Arlington Heights Rd. Requesting 2 additional stop signs on Belmont Ave, which would make this intersection a 4-way stop. There are MANY young children in the neighborhood and this could greatly improve village safety. Thank you!

  • Snow Removal Archived
2628 N Chapel Hill Dr Arlington Heights, Illinois, 60004 - Arlington Heights
I don't mean to be a complainer, however I write because if I was at college (I leave on Sunday), my parents would not be able to remove this. The plow came first and clears the middle pushing heavy snow to edge of the street, not even the bottom of the driveway. I clear it. Plow comes again clearing the middle again, I clear the bottom. Now the street is still only half plowed and I will have to clear it again when it comes. I don't understand why the plow cannot just clear the street one time, therefore I can go and clean the bottom once. A small car would not be able to get through the bottom, and anybody with any sort of mobility issue would not be able to clear the bottom. A snow blower couldn't even pick up anything because it was heavy and wet. The picture is the neighbors driveway which will be on mine when the plow comes a third time. I don't remember the plow ever doing something like this. I am not complaining about snow on the bottom of the driveway, rather the method that is being used to only clear the middle multiple times and then leaving half the street unplowed. Doesn't make sense and creates more work for everybody involved.
