Description
Car 73 at 7:36 pulled around me while I was stopped at Orange and Humphrey. I was waiting for a pedestrian signal to turn right. The cop went around and then through the intersection while people were still in the crosswalks.
I followed him to the mobile station where he bought a news paper and sat in his car.
This flagrant disrespect for citizens and flouring of laws he is sworn to protect indicates an attitude of privilege that diverts the police from their sworn duty to protect and serve.
This cop should be reprimanded at the very least.

At 3:00 today, I picked my daughter up from St. Thomas's School and continued up East Rock Road. Right at the intersection of Edgehill and East Rock Road there was a police cruiser, with a policeman sitting in the car reading the newspaper.
what is this?? our hard-earned tax dollars at work?? How can our local police department expect us to respect the officers if we constantly see them loafing around? How about doing some real police work and tracking down the dudes that stole my car on Saturday??
