Description
Old railroad tracks with potholes and cracks. Very bad combination for me. My bicycle got caught up in it and threw me down. My left arm was basically shattered into pieces. 3 complex fractures. I spent almost a week in the hospital and underwent major surgery. I am now looking at a long term disability. This is one of the worst things that could happen to a homeless mother of a 4 year old, who is already suffering from severe head trauma, vision loss and never ending whooping cough.
I now have to be readmitted to the hospital for serious complications. Just wondering how many more issues will my family have to suffer from, that the city of Oakland, has a hand in?
A week after I crashed some of the street damaged were repaired. A very small some.

I'm very sorry to hear about this, especially since these abandoned tracks issues have been reported many times over many years with little action taken.
