Description

Unfortunately Berkeley never truly responded to this issue. So I am opening a new one with the old ticket number.
BMC 13.31.010-020 with enforcement procedures outlined in .055.080.090.100.
Discrimination based on source of income is a misdemeanor crime punishable by jail time money fines and remediation of discrimination by awarding unit or one of equal value and status to the victim of the discrimination.
Enforcements are to be handled immediately by city management attorney and police.
Any civil remedies are also allowed in conjunction with the city's enforcement actions.
Anna Corona, employee, for K&S company, a property management company, ignored the decision made by this units onsite management, to rent to me.
She, the advertisement and the gentleman, Brian all stated he was the final deciding factor. His word was it.
He emphatically said yes.
Anna emphatically said no after she heard I have a shelter plus care housing voucher.
She flop flopped for about a month despite brian insisting repeatedly that she sign the lease with me.
Aside from her continual denial of my voucher she also insisted I get a cosigner because I am on disability and tried to fraudulently charge me $500 for a deposit to take the unit off the market, after I had been accepted and it was already off market
All of this is clear violations of berkeley city laws and some state aspects of civil rights laws
