Heading northwest on Leesville and turning left onto Pike, the vegetation on the northeast side of the Leesville blocks the view of oncoming traffic, which is often moving at speeds exceeding the speed limit. In addition to the safety concern, the obscured view often causes left-turners to wait longer than necessary, causing traffic backups on Leesville behind them.

Glenwood Ave & Hilburn Dr Raleigh, NC, 27612, USA - Northwest
Northwest bound on 70/Glenwood Avenue approaching Hilburn Drive, the right-most lane is right turn only, and the road transitions from three to two lanes in each direction.
Frequently, however, drivers remain in that lane and continue straight through the intersection, and while there is roughly 700 feet of continuation lane with merge left markings, the speed at which traffic moves on Glenwood results in unsafe compression on the northwest side of that intersection.
Flexible delineators installed on the through side of the intersection in the continuation lane, such that they are visible on the approach to the intersection would have a strong effect of preventing drive-throughs. That might not be approved, but we at least need to make more prominent Right-Turn-Only markings on the southeast side approaching the intersection, to include either overhead signs or more post-mounted signs on the approach.
