The plant is open and still no bus!!

They have a non stop airplane shuttle and underground subway from India,Bangladesh and Asia directly to Global Foundries plant in Malta.Look at the jobs listing for openings in Malta and you will find that the folks getting jobs there have likely never ridden public transportation once in their lives.Well maybe in India.

This is not the place for this concern. You need to bring this issue up to CDTA directly. They may even be able to add a route to their Northway Express service to accommodate passengers but you also have to realize how much money it costs to add bus service where it does not already exist. There needs to be a significant number of riders that are going to guarantee CDTA that they will use their bus service in that requested zone. I don't foresee a run coming from Waterford but Albany or Saratoga Springs would be more likely. But you don't know until you ask. Try talking to CDTA and the Capital District Transportation Committee. CDTA is in the process of re-working their Northway Express Service so now is the time to express your concerns. There are 3 upcoming public meetings regarding the NX Service, I suggest you go and speak up.
