This block is also strewn with litter & discarded "cigar wrappers." The homes that are not owner occupied need attention & effective enforcement. They are a drag to our property values & the slumlords should be held accountable.

I will check with my tenant to make sure it is not them regarding the litter, but normally this street is pretty clean. But I will check.

Thank you so much. Hard to tell who is responsible, tenants or visitors or both, it's pretty much the entire block. We are fortunate to have neighbors that clean it up semi-regularly. There is a dog that barks incessantly late at night/early morning @ 2108 or 2114 if you own or manage either of those properties. Thanks again for your help.

Also people from around the corner walk through a lot. So it could be them littering the streets.

Yes, there is a German shepherd at 2114. And this block has multiple issues & has for quite some time. The rental properties are noisy, crowded & a neighborhood nuisance. As evidenced by the blight & litter. I did not call you a slum lord, I was responding to the comment directed at me. Instead of getting defensive & petty, how about trying another tact? Set the tone for the inconsiderate people who rent these homes.

And when the property owners deflect responsibility you get Vallejo. This used to be a nice neighborhood. Used to.

I will check with my tenants about a dog. As far as I know there is .o dog there. I go by there every month. I will go by there again and let them know your complaints.

But honestly I was told by a rep at the City to use the portal to report issues the city need to fix. I told her about the street in front of my house the asphalt is constantly coming up. She said to use this portal to report the problem.

I was not expecting anyone to complain to me about my tenants. So I will check with the rep To see if this is to be expected. If so I will request that my login be cancelled.

Ma'am I did not mean to offend you. When I saw the reported issue on the 2100 block of Indiana, I wanted to alert the city about the litter accumulating. I have no idea who is to blame. Thank you for being proactive.

I would not suggest speaking to the people directly. They will more than likely react the way this woman did, deny there is a problem with the dog & then the noise will get worse out of spite for you pointing it out. I can confirm that there is a large dog at 2114 because it wakes me up every night & every morning. I will contact Animal Control on Monday morning & they will deal with it. If it does not stop, they will receive a $500 fine. An effective property manager would thank you for bringing the issue with her tenant to her attention, not accuse you of "hounding" her. Her reaction is indicative of the new culture of V town. Defensive & angry. Like most of the renters in this area. The disgusting litter is just one of the many symptoms of their dysfunctional, loud lifestyle. I have no doubt she will simply ask the tenant if they have a dog, they will say no, & nothing will change.

On a side note, the Vallejo Police Department has responded to more than one call for service at this address in the short time these folks have lived here. So the barking dog & the litter are not the only issues.

As I explained before...if you took the time to read my comments...I was informed by a City representative about this portal to use to "report to the City" any issues around Vallejo. So I reported an issue I thought that could possibly be a hazard. Not a portal to demean a person. Thank you both for your letting me know about some recent issues you have experience with noise. However, they have been contacted and hopefully whatever you both were experiencing has ceased. If not I am sure you will let me know. But I kindly ask you to please allow me the enjoyment of using this portal to communicate to the City any issues I may find. I am not making your life uncomfortable so please return the favor.

This is a continuation regarding #1662586 regarding dirt needed around the watercover in front of 2114 Indiana. I feel someone may trip and get hurt. I am not trying to make anyone mad; just reporting something I think is a hazard.

I wish to report the tree in front of 2114; the limbs always fall. I heard that recently a limb fell on a car. I wasn't there so only reporting this issue. In the past limbs have fallen on a car, so it is quite possible it happened again. So it might be a good Idea to cut some of these branches back on all the trees in this block.

How unfortunate that learning about your tenant's rude behavior makes you uncomfortable. I think you might be significantly more uncomfortable being kept awake all night by their "non-existent" dog. Maybe property management isn't your gig. I guess your conversation didn't work because he barked all night again, and woke me up at 5am this morning. And he continues to bark as I type this. I will be contacting Animal Control first thing Monday morning. Thanks so much for the help.

2108 has 3 or so pit bulls since before feb 2008. And they are still there. Maybe you are hearing them.

No, it is your tenants German shepherd who keeps the neighborhood up every night. They are rude, inconsiderate people whose poor neglected dog paces in circles in the backyard. We have investigated further and it is definitely your property. If you would like to give me your email & I can send you video of the 11pm, 2am & 430am barking fits. I have contacted animal control & they will probably contact you. Repeatedly denying it will not solve the problem. Maybe threat of a monetary fine will force you to address it.

I did go by there.
My husband looked over the fence and there was no dog.
However, I will go by there again.
How long has this been going on? A year? 3 months? A month?
Also...you are saying that the 3 pit bulls are not making any noise?

I have no reason to make up a story. We just want the noise to stop. Yes, the pit bulls bark, but not at night. I don't hear your tenants dog when I am home during the day on weekends, but he barks off and on all night, every night. Come by about 9-930pm. You can tell exactly where it is coming from. Your tenants are not being truthful with you. It has been going on for about 6 weeks. And it continues to bark as of last night (June 1), so apparently they are not worried about consequences. I also feel bad for the dog. Thank you.
