While the car apparently did have legal spaces, police obviously get the benefit of the doubt while on duty. This is a trivial waste of time for the individual reporting.

Please forward this to the police department internal affairs so they can handle this.
This is not a waste of time. The police would give you a citation for parking in the red zone, they also have to comply with the law unless there is an emergency and there is no place to park. The people enforcing our laws are not above the law and should set an example for all of us.
This is why the the judge is going to put the police under a receiver at who knows what price to the tax payers. The police think they are above the law.
