Beginning around 1:30- 2 pm, on school days, there are many cars lined up in the turn lane waiting for their children to be released from either of the schools nearby. They also fill the parking lot to capacity with no regard for the people that are going to the park. Can this somehow be prevented?

We have reviewed the public roadway side and with the improvements made with the restriping have increased the capacity of vehicle flow into the parking lot, the limiting factor is where/how vehicles are staging once they get into the lot.
I'm trying to schedule a meeting with the school district and principal to hopefully create a drop off/pick up plan that will reduce the impacts to traffic on Oakwood and park users.
