Deskripsyon

The corner of Summit Ave. & White Ave. has a stop sign that no ones seems to stop for. There are a numerous ammount of kids in that area. I can't even begina to explain how many time one of these kids almost got hit by a car trying to cross the street because of people not stopping for the stop sign! Please fix it!

Agree that folks are often careless at this stop sign. However, it wouldn't hurt if parents in this area would please, please tell their children to GET OUT OF THE STREET, and to pay attention to traffic. Kids are constantly in the intersection, and on both Summit St and White Ave, and OFTEN linger there to make cars wait. The other day, one child was actually laying down IN the street....

I couldn't agree more!!! I live a couple houses in from this stop sign and have two grandchildren that live with me. The fear of them being hit by a car when they are out playing scres me to death! Lower Chi PD needs to do something about this problem!

It's bad enough the kids today play/walk in the streets. And then sometimes don't move out of the way when a car comes. Regardless, more should be done about the speeding and refusal to stop at stops signs throughout Marshal Terrace. I hope it gets resolved before someone gets hurt.
