Descrizione
The storm drain is clogged on Christopher Street between Central Ave and Princeton Ave. The storm drain is located on the left side of the street as you travel north and is located near the entrance to the alley.
During heavy rains large amounts of water bypass the drain and run down the alley causing erosion which is deteriorating the alley and filling potholes with mud.

Anna, thank you for cleaning it out! Looks really good... Do you think there is an issue with how the drain is installed which is causing it to clog easily? The drain seems to be behind the curb a bit and set deep in the asphalt.
It would be good for someone from Public Works to check it out.

I took another look at the drain now it is cleaned an it is at least 6 inches below the level of the street. Debris is collecting in the 6 inch whole which is the drain and causing it to clog often.
The biggest problem is this is a public safety issue. Someone on the street could step into the hole and fall.
The drain needs to be raised to street level.
Will someone from Metro please assess this problem? It would be greatly appreciated.
